The fire at Grenfell Tower is, by any measure, an appalling tragedy. The survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire have suffered dreadfully as do the families and loved ones of those who died and are missing. The fire made headline news around the world, but its continuing impact is most keenly felt in the streets of Notting Hill, Carnival’s own neighbourhood.
Many of those involved with Carnival have actively supported volunteer relief efforts for the residents of the tower. We encourage visitors to this site and those who share Carnival’s neighbourhood this August bank holiday to consider making a donation to the Red Cross emergency fund set up especially to help victims and families affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
